Education and Training:

Doctor of Psychology from Northwest University

Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northwest University

Nicole spent a majority of her undergraduate studies involved in extracurriculars involving children, adolescents, multiculturalism, and diversity. Her previous training while in the doctoral program has been at a community mental health center, an integrative primary care behavioral health setting, a university campus, and a behavioral and health clinic. Through these experiences Nicole has found a passion for serving children, adolescence, families, and young adults coming from all backgrounds.

Background and Experience:

Nicole is a driven and creative minded student who along with her interest in psychology, has found love for painting and drawing. Nicole acknowledges the healing and peace that art can offer just about anyone. In addition to the training experiences mentioned above, Nicole has had the opportunity to attend several trainings including ACT, EMDR, and Gottman marriage counseling. She has also spent many years in ministry focusing mostly on nursery, youth, and teenager services.

Special Interests and Services:

Nicole has always had a passion to help others. In addition to practicing therapy she has enjoyed many years volunteering in elementary schools, counseling centers, and more. She holds the strong belief that with the right tools and guidance, anyone can receive healing. Nicole places a high value on the individual’s lived experience and provides a safe place for clients to explore their own reality. In addition, she both acknowledges and celebrates cultural differences, both inside and outside of the therapy room. Her approach to therapy is often regarded as integrative and personalized to the client who is sitting across from her.
